The Senior Center and Simsbury Public Library are co-sponsoring “Cutting the Cord” from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Library.

Cord cutting refers to the process of cutting your cable connection in order to change to a lower cost TV channel subscription using over-the-air free broadcast through an antenna, or broadcast over the Internet.

This free event is an introduction to quitting cable and how to get started with various streaming devices and services.

Please register by Sept. 9.
